Mr Alexander Kappes

Alexander Kappes is a founder and commercial leader who specializes in getting agricultural technology adopted in markets that resist change. He founded Greener Herd, an AI-driven livestock management platform that digitized more than 350,000 animals for over 10,000 producers across 11 countries, and worked with UN WFP, IFAD and Lebanon's Ministry of Agriculture on producer resilience. Before that, he led Greener Crop, commercializing hydroponic fodder and controlled environment agriculture systems for government and institutional clients across the Middle East and the US. Most recently, he has led US market entry for Orbem, a Series B company using AI-powered MRI to inspect food quality. Earlier, he scaled Groupon and Delivery Hero across the Middle East.
