    Dr Hazim Omar Khalifa

    Dr. Hazim Omar Khalifa is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Veterinary Medicine at United Arab Emirates University and a member of the One Health Team at the National Institute of Infectious Diseases (NIID), Japan. He holds Ph.D. in Molecular Pharmacology and Biotechnology from Hiroshima University, Japan. Dr. Khalifa has held several academic and research positions in Japan, including Visiting Researcher, Assistant Professor, and Senior Scientist. He has also held various academic positions in Egypt, including Demonstrator, Lecturer, and Associate Professor of Pharmacology. His research focuses on antimicrobial resistance from a One Health perspective, as well as antimicrobial and anticancer chemotherapy. He has authored more than 102 Scopus-indexed publications in high-ranking scientific journals.
